If you plan to pick up your hire car in Terminal 1, simply proceed through customs, turn right and continue straight on to the Bank of Ireland on your right-hand side. Continue past the bank and you’ll see the car hire desk there on your right. For passengers landing in Terminal 2, proceed directly to the multi-storey car park, where car hire desks operate on site.
General Information about Dublin Airport
Dublin Airport continues to gain prominence on the international stage. It’s the largest airport in Ireland and ranks 10th in Europe, as well. In 2013, the airport surpassed the 20-million-passenger mark again (the first time was in 2009). This number is only expected to grow in coming years, with 10 new routes introduced in 2014 alone.
Since the unveiling of Terminal 2 in 2010, Dublin Airport has been in a class of its own—home to first-rate facilities, world-class duty-free shopping through The Loop and a host of restaurants and bars. On average, Dublin Airport serves upwards of 60,000 passengers each day, with an upsurge of roughly 30 percent during the summer high season.
Dublin Airport operates an array of short- and medium-haul routes connecting Ireland’s capital city with destinations across the UK, mainland Europe, North America and the Middle East. Thanks to car hire at Dublin Airport, transport from either terminal to virtually any destination in Ireland is easy to arrange. All of our Dublin Airport Car Rentals are supplied by Car Hire Dublin Airport .
