The process of renting a car in Ireland is identical to the processes involved with renting a car in any other part of the world. The main requirements for renting cars in Ireland fall under the following three categories:
Driver LIcense
Full drivers license without endorsements available for inspection
Driver license must be from your country of residence.
Drivers from the UK, US, Canada, Australia and all EU countries do not need an international permit
Holders of Uk photo card driving licenses must bring both parts of their license.
Rental Car in Ireland Age Requirements
Drivers must be at least 25 years of age for groups A, B, C, J and K.
Drivers must be at least 27 years of age for groups H, N, O, P and R.
The maximum renting age is 74
Drivers aged between 71 and 74 are subject to an additional insurance of €9 per day
Credit Card Requirements
The main renter must have a valid Credit Card in his or her name available for inspection
Payment must be made with a credit card as we do not accept other forms of payment
Failure to present a valid Credit Card will void the rental
